Additionally a Sunday XI , entered into the Essex Sunday League East Division, has ten League fixtures and friendly fixtures.  A Veterans XI has regular mid-week fixtures, with occasional Sunday fixtures throughout the season.

Pre-season indoor nets for Club members, on Monday evenings, are supervised by Terry Charrington, a coach with many years of experience at Essex County Cricket Club.  Arrangements for personal (One-on-One) coaching and group sessions for youngsters during school holidays can be made with Terry.  These sessions make use of the superb indoor and outdoor facilities at The Toby Howe Cricket Ground.

Colts cricket at various ages is also active for coaching and competitive matches.  Whilst accommodating the Kwik Cricket County Final (a competition for Under 11s), ECCB Matchplay Semi-Finals and Peter Coe Semi-Finals at The Toby Howe Cricket Ground, Billericay Cricket Club  enters an Under 16 XI in the ECCB promoted Matchplay competition.  Their fixtures for 2007 season are as under:

Apart from Billericay Cricket Club fixtures, The Toby Howe Cricket Ground also provides a home for Essex County Cricket Club Second XI One Day, Two Day and Three Day fixtures.  This has provided good class cricket for spectators.  As recently as the 2005 season a certain young player, Alastair Cook, produced a delightful century against a formidable Kent Second XI at the ground.  This was supported by half centuries from  Will Jefferson and Grant Flower in the same game.

Spectators are always welcome at all Billericay Cricket Club and Essex County Cricket Club fixtures.  Details of the fixtures are available in other areas of this Web Site.

HIRE FACILITIES:  The indoor nets are available for hire to Cricket Clubs:  The Clubroom is available for hire on request.  Enquiries should be addressed through the “Contact Us” section of this Web Site.

Billericay Cricket Club offered the use of their clubroom facilities to the Bereavement Groups facilitated by Dee Rowsell of St Luke’s Hospice, Basildon.  Starting with Quiz Nights in May and June 2007, a “Garden Party” in July 2007, other ongoing events have been planned on a monthly basis.
The success of these events has identified the need for bereavement support, in the Billericay area, for people who have no contact with St Luke’s Hospice. In recognition of this need, Dee Rowsell has set up a separate service, Bereavement and Emotional Support Services (BESS), with the approval of St Luke’s Hospice. BESS is able to provide bereavement support to those in need within the Billericay area and, in conjunction with Billericay Cricket Club, encourage their participation in the social events
Details of these events will always be advised through the “Latest News …” page of this Web Site.

It is over ten years, in 1996, when the sale of the old ground at Mountnessing Road enabled Billericay Cricket Club to move to the new ground in Blunts Wall Road, just behind the Billericay Football Ground.  The ground provides two county size pitches, a magnificent clubhouse with indoor nets, good parking facilities and outdoor nets.

The pitches are maintained by a full-time groundsman provided by Essex County Cricket Club who also use the ground for County Second XI and junior County XI fixtures.  Additionally the ground has been used for benefit matches (e.g Nasser Hussain, Mark Ilott and Peter Such) and, in the 2002 season, accommodated the prestigious Bunbury Festival (a national competition involving the best 15 year olds from which a number of England Test players have evolved).

On 21st June 2000 the Toby Howe Cricket Ground also accommodated a NatWest Trophy 3rd Round fixture between Warwickshire CCC and the Essex CB XI.  This game featured Alan Donald, Nick Knight, Ashley Giles and Trevor Penney among others.

Billericay Cricket Club puts out four Saturday sides - each performing in their respective divisions of the Shepherd Neame Essex League.  Occasionally the Club puts out a Saturday 5th XI playing home fixtures at Lake Meadows.

The top two elevens play their fixtures on the main (South) pitch and the third and fourth elevens play on the second (North) pitch.
